Take on me
Take On Me is BACK! Join London Roller Derby’s Brawling for a mini tournament to remember.
In this year’s edition of our well-loved, fast-paced fundraiser tournament, four teams will take on Brawling in a series of chaotic mini-rounds.
As always, there’s a twist: skaters, officials and audience members will be able to donate money to purchase ‘twists’ to rig the game. Hijinks WILL ensue.
Want to get your jammer out of the penalty box? Go for it. Want your favourite blocker to don the star for the next jam? Sure. Want to finally watch a clockwise jam? Why the hell not? YOU control the game, with all donations going towards the running of London Roller Derby, including offsetting member travel costs and making our Fundamentals programme more accessible.
Where and when?
Saturday 25 November, 15.00-20.00, Tottenham Green Pools and Fitness
Want to participate as a skater?
Teams taking on Brawling will have up to eight skaters. You can enter as a team for £140, or as an individual skater for £20 per person.
Want to be a bench crew member?
Each team can have a bench crew of up to three people. You can sign up to join a bench crew for £10 per person.
How does team allocation work for individual sign ups?
If you sign up as a solo skater or bench crew and have a specific team in mind, please let us know when you enter and we’ll match you up. Otherwise, it’s the luck of the draw and you’ll be allocated at random.
